📝 Description
Myself and another adult friend and 2 teenagers were invited to an event in Waycross Georgia on Saturday 10/18/2025. We made reservations to stay in Folkston Georgia starting on Thursday 10/16/2025 thru Sunday 10/19/2025 to get some railfanning (train spotting) in while we were up there. We got there around 2 pm and unloaded our vehicle and got the tripods out to film the trains going by (A area on map below). There were 4 tripods in total. 2 of the tripods had LED light panels for videos at night. The other 2 tripods have cell phone holders on them so we can click a cell phone into the holder and get steady videos of the trains. At around 8:00 pm we started the charcoal grill up and cooked some fillet minion steaks and hot dogs. The gentlemen that lives next door has 4 to 5 cats there that run around and play there (B area). At around 9:00 PM my friend and I started hearing something in the brush on the northeast side of the cabin across the 4 railroad tracks from us (C area). We went down by the railroad tracks on our side to see if we could see anything (A area). The other gentleman had his flashlight and shined it right on the bushes (C area) where the noise was coming from and we noticed green eyes reflecting back and what looked to be a massive silhouette of something squatting down. I was going to start a video when I realized I didnt have my cell phone on me. I would later find it on the foldup chair next to the campfire we had. The silhouette was moving left and right in a swaying motion, which was causing the noise in the brush (C area). Then we noticed that crickets were no longer chirping anymore. An eerie quietness started. As we were standing there one of the worst smells I have ever smelled came across the tracks to our area (A area). All of us smelled it I then noticed the cats that were playing (B Area) took off not to been seen any more for that night. Within a minute a rock was thrown across the tracks towards us and landed next to us (A area). It came from the general direction of the silhouette swaying in the bushes (C area). We all looked at each other and he turned the flashlight back on and could still see the silhouette swaying behind the bushes (C area) next to the tree limb. Then another rock was thrown hard enough to spark when it hit the railroad track by us (A area). One teenager got so scared he said he wanted to go home now. He went back to the cabin and went inside. His dad went up to the cabin to talk to him. Then myself and the other teenager heard a weird like chatter coming from where the silhouette was swaying in the bushes (C area) and about 40 to 50 feet south of the it (D area) and all of a sudden, a branch snapped 40 to 50 feet south of where the silhouette (C area) was at (D area). Thats when I realized that we were dealing with 2 of these things. I yelled out "hey" and right after I did that another rock came across and hit the tracks again really sparking (A area) thrown from the bushes (C area). The other young man asks me if I did that and I said no. These rocks were probably being thrown 120 plus feet from (C area) where he was to where they landed with force. I then grabbed one of the LED lights we have on tripods to help light up the trains, and I aimed it at the bushes (C area). When I did, thats when I saw a huge silhouette stand up, with the reflecting eyeshine being 7 ft off the ground in an amber / greenish color. It had to be around 7 feet tall. The shoulder width was about 10 to 12 inches wider than me if I had to guess. It was bipedal on 2 legs. It then disappeared behind the brush. I could not see it after that. There was no further activity that night. We stayed 2 more nights and had no more activity. On Saturday night we found a dead deer that was hit by a train a day or two before (E area).
