π Description
We were on a deer lease in Texas that was connected to the Red River. There was a road that split the lease and we stayed in a tent on the north side of the road. The river ran under the road from south to north and a creek ran from it going east to west. The creek was about 20 yards north of our tent. We heard whooping calls south of the road on the river that slowly made their way past the road and up the creek 20 yards from our tent. We then heard growling and movement. I then fell asleep out of fear and here I am as a Texas hunter reporting it. The sounds were identical to the Sierra Sounds and terrified me but i'm curious now.
