π Description
I just got back from camping at a provincial park. First night I was awake all night - just couldnt sleep in a new tent and in unfamiliar surroundings. At 0215 hours, I heard a 'whooping' sound very clearly coming from the mountains. It sounded far away but it was very clear. There were about 10 "whoops" in the course of 5 minutes. No other sounds or replies were heard. The next morning on a hike along a narrow trail I found what appeared to be a footprint in the dirt. There were no other prints found though the bush on either side is dense and the path narrow. I took a picture of the print alone as well as with my foot along side it. I have a size 11 1/2 boot and the print was quite a bit bigger than my boot. I didn't have anything else to 'measure' or compare the print too.
